Timothy Project is a program that gathers children and young men and women from various ethnic and economic backgrounds and molds them into a family. The variety of unique personalities, skills, and qualities each person brings to the program is accepted and greatly appreciated.
Through group sessions, one-on-one mentoring, and enrichment activities, at-risk youth are achieving life and self-sufficiency skills in a spiritually supportive setting. Our “peer-mentoring” theme is unique in that youth are individually developing leadership and social skills while mentoring someone else who has just entered the program.
After being enrolled in the program 2 ½ years, this 15 year-old mentor’s testimonial reveals the tremendous success of the program:
“When I first started the Timothy Project, my grades were not good. I wanted to do something about it, so I prayed and asked God to send me some help, and He did. He sent me Pastors Carolyn and Rodney Robinson. They helped me in many ways and I became aware that I could learn things if I only believed in God and in myself. So now my grades are much better. I am happy to say that my report card now shows me making A’s and B’s.
“What have I learned? I have learned that God will help you and answer your requests. He will not only bless me, He will bless those who help others. So I thank God for having people on the earth like the Robinsons. They inspired me to believe by opening my mind to greater possibilities.
“I believe that God has a purpose and destiny for me and I am not afraid to step out and try things that I have never done before. In school I am now involved in several activities, such as:Signed, Sir Wright
- Serving as 9th grade student treasurer
- President of the Spring High Steppers
- Runner of Cross Country Track
- Implemented a program for Special Ed youth who cannot do certain things for themselves.”

May we also express our appreciation for those who have shared our dream and vision of developing the lives of youth. By working beside us, you truly have become our hands extended. Our youth need your wisdom and guidance to help them discover their destiny and purpose. Thank you for unselfishly giving your time and skills.
Pastor Carolyn A. Robinson
